The 3rd annual Better Together: California Teachers Summit will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 (from 8:00AM-12:30PM) on the Stanislaus State Campus (and 34 other colleges and Universities sites across the state).

The annual Better Together: California Teachers Summit is a FREE professional event that will bring teachers across the state together for a powerful day of learning led by teachers, for teachers.    .5 Continuing Education Unit will be available for interested participants.

California teachers are working hard to foster inclusive classrooms, spark learning and equip all students to succeed. This is a difficult job, especially at a time when our country is divided and some of the core values of educators are being challenged. Now more than ever, teachers deserve an opportunity to come together and learn from one another.

The theme this year is Now More Than Ever, which reflects the importance of bringing teachers together to listen and learn from one another. Sessions will focus on timely topics ranging from addressing bullying in the classroom to celebrating diversity to teaching students to be open-minded, critical thinkers. By bringing California teachers together, the Summit will empower teachers to support our students, protect our values as educators and set an example for the nation.

Interested individuals can find information and register at www.CaTeachersSummit.com.  or you may contact : Ms Tara Ribeiro 209-667-3589 or by email at tribeiro@csustan.edu
